Class Styles
This is a great way to give The Natalie Berkeley Studio a “tri”. Try all three of the most popular class offerings in one 45 minute class. (15 min. each of The NBS Barre, The NBS Pilates, The NBS Yoga) See individual class descriptions below for what to expect in each segment.
The Pilates classes help to bring strength and stability to your core and back. These classes will tap in to your deepest layer of core. Props may be used in classes including leg weights, hand weights, and a mat (see Barre description for prop alternatives).
The Barre classes engage your arms, core, and legs. You will work muscles you didn’t even know you had! Props may be used in classes including a barre (chair, countertop, whatever works), leg weights (1 pound each), hand weights (2-3 pounds each), and a mat (towel works).
The Yoga classes are all levels. You will work through various asanas (poses) to improve your strength, flexibility and balance. You will need a mat. It is helpful to have a yoga block and yoga strap (a men’s tie will do) to improve your asanas.
